Nizar has worked as an architectural photographer since 2010 and combines this with more than sixteen years of architectural practice. He is now a senior architect at Sweco Architects, following the integration of assar architects into Sweco.

His portfolio includes the European Parliament ZWEIG Visitor Centre, the Belgian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, FedEx Workplace and Icône in Paris.

Architecture asks to be read before it is framed. I look for the relationships between plan and movement, structure and material, daylight and use. The sequence builds a clear visual account, from context to the detail that explains the project.
